After qualifying with the AAT in 2017, Sharlene has worked hard to gain a wealth of experience. Having joined CityTrust in February 2020, Sharlene has been helping our SMEs with some of their daily challenges. From implementing and improving bookkeeping systems to working on tax planning strategies for growing businesses, Sharlene has gotten to know our clients.
VAT returns and Payroll are her bread and butter, but she enjoys analysing new businesses to highlight improvements and implementing systems and controls.
Sharlene is a busy mum with a lot to juggle outside of work. She is responsible for three children and has a whole heap of pets to care for, some of which are out of the ordinary, including a Bearded Dragon called Dave. When she is not organising her family, Sharlene enjoys focusing her attention on physical pursuits. Having previously been in the army, physical fitness and well-being are ways she likes to relax and escape in her free time.
